David Lee Washington is a native of Omaha, and Tech Alumni whom has just published his first fiction novel titled: SUNDANCE “A Western Romance Adventure” SUNDANCE is doing very well and receiving wonderful reviews both locally and non-local and can be purchased online at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, iTunes, Google play, Kobo and Kindle. This former HS teacher and current administrator has also served in the Army Reserves. (35 years) SUNDANCE is scheduled to be a three-novel sequel with the second novel releasing in 2019 and the third novel releasing in 2020. This novel contains romance, action, adventure and excitement. David will host a book signing at the Urban League of Nebraska located on the corner of 30th and Lake street. The Tech girls swim team were called the Mermaids in the1930's.
